monero.press lives on contributions in Monero (XMR). They pay for the digitization of the works of the library and for keeping what is published here corrected and online.

The current campaign

Until 27 April 2027, a campaign on Kuno raises 5 XMR for the complete works of Plato, Aristotle and Epicurus, in the original Greek. Its progress is announced in the news.

A work of your choice

Every work that is not yet published has a page with the price of digitizing it and, when it is open to contributions, an address of its own, with its QR code: what is sent there counts for that work alone, and the page shows how much of the price has arrived. Digitization explains how the prices are set.

What happens to the money

Contributions are counted when they have ten confirmations. When those to a work reach its price, the work is digitized and published, and its page no longer shows an address. What arrives after that goes to the next work in line. The news list what is published, and the questions answer the rest.
